New Seated Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber (HBOT) from German Manufacturer X4Oxygen
Germany’s largest manufacturer of hyperbaric oxygen chambers, X4Oxygen, has introduced its long-awaited seated HBOT chamber at the beginning of the year. After several years of development, this new chamber, designated H130-20, is now available for order.
The device is designed for professional use—such as by doctors, naturopaths, and clinics—as well as for fitness studios and private users. With its compact footprint, front entry, comfortable reclining seat, and intuitive controls, this HBOT chamber sets a new benchmark in user-friendliness. The operating pressure can be adjusted from 1.2 to 2.0 bar in 0.2-bar increments. Standout features include premium equipment, a modern, well-engineered design, and the all-in-one supply unit for which X4Oxygen is known. This unit combines two medical-grade compressors, active air cooling, an oxygen concentrator, ionizer, and dehumidifier into a single system. The manufacturer claims its devices are three times more effective than competitors’, thanks to a proprietary oxygen processing system.
The effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is widely recognized in science and clinical medicine. HBOT gained broad international attention in 2020 following the publication of Israeli clinical studies on its anti-aging effects—studies that have since been repeatedly confirmed worldwide. Leading researchers, such as Dr. David Sinclair, professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School, openly discuss the phenomenon and the possibility of “getting a year younger each year.” Sinclair views aging as a disease—one that, like any other, could potentially be cured.
Because treatments in HBOT centers often require 30–60 sessions, making them both costly and time-intensive, companies like X4Oxygen also offer mobile home solutions. According to the company, its mission is to provide the general public with access to highly efficient, safe HBOT technology. New mobile systems with operating pressures up to 1.5 bar are available starting at €10,000, with used systems sometimes priced even lower. For the first time, both professional providers and private individuals can also access pay-per-use hyperbaric oxygen treatments in X4Oxygen’s stationary systems at its Siegen location. The newly introduced seated chamber is expected to play a key role in expanding this “HBOT Pay per Use” model.
